Finish The Picture
This work, consisted in taking an image from a magazine, and drawing something you imagined around it to finish the picture. Drawing its background, but with things that are not common, something different.
In my case, I took a cruise image. Making around it a candy land. With mountains, rivers, sun and an island. Which were all draw in a form of a different candy or sweet. I used different materials such as a candy wrapper for the island, cotton for the cotton candy on top of the mountains. But always using in all of them crayons and markers.
I did this, because I just love candies. I will eat it every day if I could, and I thought that it will be amazing if there was a cruise that navigated all over candies. That will be awesome, but also impossible. However this drawing represents a dream. Personally, I didn't have many struggles in this work. The only one was to choose which candies form to use, and which one will fit to make the most realistic background possible made with candies. I did have some strength, because I just put all my imagination and used what I had around. In my opinion, making it looks different, because the things went out of the paper. If I did it agian, I think it wont need any improvement, but still it's never bad some more imagination.
